Environmental, Social and Governance
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities are a core part of North London Estate Partnerships role. The 2023 - 24 Sustainability and ESG objectives are as follows:

Strive to identify more opportunities to utilise the portfolio’s buildings for the benefit of the local community.

Work in partnership with CHP and the FMSPs to identify and progress opportunities/initiatives for reducing energy/water consumption and to decarbonise the estate, through regular monthly estates meetings.

Increase the biodiversity of the NLEP estate, particularly through ‘Putting buildings at the heart of the community’ and Community Gardens initiatives.

Act as a conduit between local community organisations and CHP/ICB to advise on opportunities to make best use of the buildings across the portfolio.

Following completion of the Access Able programme, support CHP in the delivery of any specific recommendations.

Progress and monitor the Age Exchange Reminiscence Art in Dementia project.

Promote and encourage sustainability and ESG activities with supply chain partners.

Continue to focus delivery and reporting on the identified UN Sustainable Development Goals.
